Dr Salini Karuvade is awarded the Deborah Jin Fellowship

Congratulations to our very own Dr Salini Karuvade (Quantum Theory Group), who was recently appointed as a Deborah Jin Fellow. The Deborah Jin Fellowship was designed to support and encourage early- and mid-career female or female-identifying physicists and to address the under representation of women in Quantum Physics. Here’s what Salini had to say, after receiving the award.

“It is an honour to receive this fellowship celebrating the legacy of the legendary physicist Deborah Jin. This fellowship motivates me to work harder and engage in quality research. But more importantly, it reminds me of Dr. Jin’s commitment to mentoring young academics, especially the women. I look forward to doing the same as a Deborah Jin Fellow.”
